4th - Drippy Food Monster

Drippy Food monster was Inspired by the graffiti artist known as "Buff Monster" who's work is characterized by happy characters living in brightly colored bubbly landscapes. Students spend the first day studying and creating the art of the drip. They had to master using more than one color or value in the drop of the drip! They then dreamt up their favorite drippy food, and created it with the bright, bold, creative happy colors. In order to keep the focus on the monsters, students used a washed out watercolor technique of wet-on-wet to complete the background.
