Kindergarteners got their first experience with clay this year at Walker! We begin with the basic pinch pot as their bird bath, students then designed and attached a pedestal, and a miniature bird for the edge of their bath. Final touches included glazing, adding glass beads to melt in the middle as our water, and a feather to ensure those birds looked birdlike!
