3rd - Snowflakes

Students learned about the Japanese art of kirigami (folding & cutting) vs the Japanese art of origami (folding). With this they then created paper snowflakes with rotational and reflectional symmetry. Students then created a colorful painted background and combined the elements in a finished winter collage.
