Nature Inspired Ceramics

Students learned about the ways in which nature can inspire our art by looking at a variety of nature photogrpahers and artists who use elements of nature as art supplies. After studying focus artists and practicing ceramic hand building techinques, students created ceramic sculptures inspired by aspects of nature that are most important to them.
