Treasure Pendants

Students learned about the art of the pendant, discovering the ways in which pendants can represent important things for the wearer. After studying a variety of pendants like lockets, amulets, and talimans, students were asked to think about something they will want to take with them in pendant form. Students practiced clay techniques, while learning about the big idea of Treasure. Students ultimately created a ceramic pendant that represents something in their life that they treasure. Pendants were glazed and strung on necklaces so our treasures are always with us!
