Students learned about Compassion and what it means to show compassion, while studying the work of Griselda Sastrawinata. Her illustrations represent kind actions towards others and the joy that this can bring. Students used fabirc and fabric markers to draw, cut, and glue their very own critter that represents aspects of showing compassion (looking for others who might need help, listening to others, and showing care toward others). These critters are soft and portable to spread compassion throughout the day!
