This fun and highly-textured collage lesson inspired by the vibrant illustrations in the book, "Chaiwala!" by Priti Berla Maheshwari and Ashley Barron creates a perfect opportunity for students to explore different traditions and rituals that relate to eating and drinking. In this lesson, students will create their own textured paper, utilizing the simple printmaking technique of stamping with bubble wrap and other found objects. Students will get to choose their own type of cookies and drink, whether it be tea, hot cocoa or something else that they enjoy.
