Biography

Art has always been an integral part of my life from when I was young. I was learning calligraphy, sewing, and embellishing counted cross-stitch patterns, sculpting, and learning how to draw by watching Peanuts cartoons by age ten. Throughout middle and high school, I continued in the arts and later earned a BA in Fine Arts from Kean University (Kean College at that time). In 2016, I graduated Phi Kappa Phi with a MSE in Special Education from Arkansas State University. I am an active member of the Art Educators of New Jersey, a 2017 AENJ and Governor's Award recipient for the Anthony Guadadiello Service Award, and a 2018 AENJ Linda Lora Pugilese recipient for YAM team leadership. I am an active member of the NAEA and a 2020-2021 SAL participant.
