Students created a painting of Christmas cookies inspired by Wayne Thiebaud. Students began by painting their background. They used cookie cutters as tracers and placed them around the page. Students added dramatic shading in oil pastels inspired by Wayne Thiebaud. They will use white puff paint to add frosting to their cookies and added colorful sprinkles to their backgrounds.
