Alma Thomas Line Painting

Students learned about artist Alma Thomas, they watched a video about her life and looked at her artwork. They noticed she painted with dashed lines, sometimes in a linear pattern and sometimes in concentric circles. They chose which style they wanted to use as inspiration- circle or lines. After reviewing painting procedures, they used watercolor paints in their choice of color and pattern.
