Students discovered the difference between 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional lines.  Students practiced drawing different types of 2-dimensional lines on paper and were challenged to make the same 2-dimensional lines into 3-dimensional lines using paper strips by folding, curving and manipulating paper strips. After students had some practice, they created a line collage on white paper with colored strips of paper.  They had to use both 2D and 3D lines and have at least 6 different types of lines (horizontal, vertical, diagonal, zig-zag, swirly, wavy, etc.) in their collage.
