Students read along with the story Little Cloud and create a cloud inspired by the main character in the book. Students were encouraged to use Oil Pastels to blend the edges of their cloud's lines and create movement. Students first used pencil, then blue crayons, and oil pastels to draw their cloud portrait. The last step was to give their cloud a light rain shower and a beautiful rainbow with watercolor paints! Extra points were given for funny and expressive faces.
