2nd Grade: Lois Ehlert Winter Birds

Students will create a mixed media project featuring birds in a wintery scene. Students will paint paper to create different patterns and effects. Students will cut out birds from the painted paper and develop a background using different tools to create a wintery scene. Students will combine all of their elements into a collage.
