After watching an interesting short video about Birch trees 4th grade set out to create their own landscape Fall and Winter Birch trees. Some students chose to use an interesting technique using cardboard and paint to create the beautiful Birch tree lines, others chose to use permanent black marker. We found out from the video that these marks are made on the trees by the tails of birds and also by branches. The project also included learning about analogous colors. Those are the ones that sit next to each other on the color wheel.
