Wire Sculpture

Learning how to bend and manipulate wire seems like an inherently easy task. However, learning specific ways to bend and manipulate wire takes fine hand-eye coordination, concentration, and practice. These are the same skills we use when tying bows and knots, which are things we all do every day! This lesson asks students to create a variety of lines and shapes with their pipe cleaners to create a small abstract sculptures.
