Earth Day Poster and Poetry Contest

Earth Day Poster and Poetry Contest • Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student can participate. • Students are asked to create a poster and/or write an essay to accompany the poster or as a stand-alone entry of an essay or poem. Theme: Lending help to our earth: How can we make a difference? The goal is to promote the awareness of conservation of our Earth’s natural resources. Contest Rules: • All entries must be original works without aid from others. • Posters should be designed on 12 x 18 sheet of paper. • Use colored pencils, markers, paint, water-color or other drawing materials. • Words can be incorporated into the poster but are not required.
