An art challenge favorite at Lufkin is our Split-Face or Split-Image Project. After selecting a photograph of their choice, students complete an affixed split image by matching the values and proportions of the loose half using their observation, a drawing upside-down strategy and their previous studies of porportion diagrams and rules-of-thumb. A few students complete both sides of a portrait.
