Barn Quilt-Inspired Color Wheel Paintings

Since our hall student art exhibits at Lufkin Road Middle School are currently closed, we invite you to visit our new virtual student art gallery. My 8th-grade Painting Elective students designed original Barn Quilt- inspired color wheels that they completed the week prior to our building closing. Choosing a color scheme based on a rotary compass-star design, one of the objectives was to mix all their colors from primary paints, and they developed all their shades and tints by adding black and white. Please don't hesitate to leave a comment or commend a student on their artwork.
