Mrs. Buteau's 7th graders created mosaic self portraits with torn paper.
Steps:
1. Took selfie with dramatic lighting
2. Mixed acrylic paint to create 5-6 values from white to black
3. Glued torn (and some cut) paper on a piece of acetate taped over selfie
4. Once dry, mosaic was peeled away from acetate and glued on black railroad board
