Jessica Herr
Jessica Herr has been teaching high school art for 21 years. This is her ninth year at FDHS, but she has been in Augusta County for the last 18 years. In 2012, Mrs. Herr received the Dawbarn Award for Inspiring, Encouraging, and Fostering Learning. In 2008-09, she received the Teacher of the Year award at Buffalo Gap High School. Mrs. Herr also exhibits her own artwork, usually Ceramics, around the Harrisonburg area. She won the Judges Choice Award during the 2013 Art Lotto Portrait Show for her portrait of John Bell. Mrs. Herr enjoys working with high school students and sharing her love of art with them.
