Biography

My name is Kimberly Wix! I am originally from Laurens, SC but I now live in Simpsonville, SC. I attended college at Lander University and received a BA in Visual Arts in 2007, and a Master's of Art in Teaching degree in 2008. I began teaching Elementary Art in Fall of 2008, took a break from 2018-2022 and came back to teaching in 2023.

I am married to my wonderful husband Jared and we have an awesome son named Parker! We have a Sheltie dog named Myles. We enjoy visiting downtown Greenville, going to the park, and going out to eat.

Some of my favorite art mediums are Ceramics and Printmaking. My favorite hobbies are reading and cross-stitching.
