Welcome to Sunnyside Elementary Schools Art Gallery!

I am Mrs. S your child's art teacher. My role as your child's art teacher is to make Art Class a positive experience for every student regardless of his or her artistic ability. I strive to encourage my students to use their creative brains to express themselves freely.

This year's art class will look a little different. We will be utilizing a Google Bitmoji Classroom to deliver the lessons. I encourage you to explore our Bitmoji classroom, view the lessons with your child and create art at home. I would like you to photograph your child's artwork and post it to his or her Artsonia Page so that we can build a classroom digital portfolio. I will also be able to view your child's work and leave comments.

Art will be fun, relaxing, hands-on, messy challenging, and will provide students with the think outside of the box mindset.
