Fourth and fifth grade students created paintings to say THANK YOU to all Kidders veterans. The fifth grades focused on bald eagles and their sybolic meaning. The fourth grade learned about the WWI poem "In Flanders Field" by Canadian physician Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae. They learned the meaning behind the poppy flower and what it now symbolises.
