Surrealist Hand Drawing: Pre/Post Assessment

We will draw from observation at the beginning of the course and again at the end. This will provide a compare and contrast opportunity that will demonstrated your learning and growth. Pre-Assessment: I can draw and shade my hand from observation while accessing my prior knowledge and skills. Post-Assessment: Students will use the style of Surrealism to create a drawing that includes at least 1 or more hands that connect visually or conceptually with your creative, imaginative background. Students will utilize color pencil techniques as well as other media to emphasize at least 2 principles of design in their artwork.
