Take A Stand
Each year, our 5th Graders create footsteps for a public art project. They each chose 1 word of inspiration or a message they would want to leave behind for others to be motivated by. These words became the focus of a design for sneaker tread, so that the wearer of these special shoes could leave that message behind as they marched through life. Their work is timely reminder of how important it is to take a stand for what you believe it and speak out for what is just.
