Community Paintings Grade 2

Grade 2 students explored tempera paint.  They learned about primary colors and practiced mixing them to create secondary colors.  Students explored using white to create tints and how this could help them create realistic skies. Their artwork shows their knowledge of color mixing, painting large shapes and creating imaginary communities with a paintbrush.
