Picasso's Dove of Peace

During the holiday week of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we learned a little more about the leader. I asked my virtual students to reflect on what peace meant to them.  Dr. King promoted peace and so did an artist, Pablo Picasso.  We viewed his Dove of Peace Artwork and were inspired to create our own!  Students incorporated symbols that expressed peace to them. In sharing this beautiful work we hope to keep the positivity going!
