Black Forest Critters

Students learned about the Black Forest in Germany and that many of our well known fairy tales come from that region. They used knowledge of depth and space to create a forest floor and an inviting stump where a forest creature could rest. The addition of ferns, mushrooms and leaves added to the magical nature feel of their projects.
