3rd grade Story Quilts

Artists learned about Faith Ringgold and the story quilt that inspired her children's book, Tar Beach.  Then, students put themselves in Cassie's feet, and imagined themselves flying over a place of their choosing in their narrative artworks.  The border was decorated to look like a story quilt.
