Exploring Lines

This fall the students of all grade levels reviewed and learned about different types of lines. Each grade level created an artwork revolving around lines to show their new knowledge. Kinder, 1st and 2nd graders created as many different lines as they could, painted them, and turned them into Cats. 3rd and 4th graders were very challenged to create straight lines that we then cut up to put back together in a way that created an illusion that the lines were curving or moving. The 5th grade students created a self portrait and gave themselves a "bad hair day" full of as many different types of lines and patterns as they could think of. All artwork is very original and creative!
