Digital Self Portrait- Johnson

For this project, we studied Kehinde Wiley and his modern art. We discovered how Mr. Wiley would place contemporary people that he would find on the street into these classical settings. Taking inspiration from him, we researched an artist and chose a piece to recreate. Once we found the artwork that we wanted to recreate, we took a photograph of ourselves in the same pose as the main subject. After creating our pattern for the background in Photoshop, we imported our photograph and used the eyedropper tool and the paint tool to digitally paint our portraits!
