Glass Art Ornaments

Students designed and made their own glass-fused ornaments. They learned how colors and layers of glass change when heated in a kiln. They practiced cutting and layering glass safely. They learned the basics of glass fusing, like controlling heat and using the right types of glass together. They solve creative problems, like choosing colors and shapes that work well in glass. Lastly they shared their finished ornaments and reflected on what they learned.
