2nd, 3rd, & 4th Grade Spring Art Show 2024

Check out what we have been up to in the Hoover art room the past few months!

2nd Grade has been working with color, lines, shapes, and forms. They have been creating with collage, 3D sculpture, paint, and radial designs. and Most recently we finished our 3D heart sculptures using paper, cardboard, paper clay, and glue and took a picture with a designed 3D museum space.

3rd Grade has been working with line, shape, form, color, value, texture, and space. They have been creating using yarn, sketching, paint, and marker work. Most recently they are working on a circle/ shape landscape inspired by contemporary artist Jen Aranyi.

4th Grade has been working with line, shape, form, color, value, texture, and space. They have been creating using sketching, yarn, watercolor pencils, markers, cut paper, and crayon textures. Most recently they have started work on their national parks project discussing the parts
that make a landscape and how
to put those pieces together.
