2nd Grade Color collage

Students studied the element of color, the color wheel & how to make colors. Students then created a mixed a painted page of warm colors and a page of cool colors so all colors were visible. Students then viewed the work of Eric Carle & Carl Crawford and used their warm & cool painted papers to create their collages. Students cut their painted papers into pieces and used them to create a picture of something about them or something they like.
