Third-grade students practiced stitching on paper using a hole puncher to punch the holes, and practicing with a needle and yarn.  Then we moved on to stitching a composition on burlap that each student designed him or herself.  We used yarn and plastic needles, learned how to tie knots and do different types of stitches, and then used Kwik Stix paint sticks to add a little color to the burlap.  We hope you enjoy looking at them!
