Water Conservation

Drop Savers Contest details:   Entries must be submitted electronically via photos or scans and may be submitted anytime between now and the end of the contest.  Entry Form link [hollywoodfl.org].  Original entries can be created on any standard (8 ½” x 11”) paper and may be either vertically or horizontally oriented. The work must portray or include a water conservation message and must be created by hand using crayons, pens, markers, paints, or other art supplies but please do not use highlighters.  No digital creation is allowed.  More details below, complete state contest rules available at: Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (fsawwa.org) [fsawwa.org]. All entries must be received on or before Tuesday February 28, 2022.   Artists who place in the top three for their age group will receive electronic gift cards of up to $100 (for 1st place entries). We also plan to host our full traditional DropSavers Awards Presentation at City Hall this year for the first time since the pandemic caused us to cancel in 2020!   Poster Contest Guidelines Categories: Division 1: Kindergarten and First Grade Division 2: Second and Third Grade Division 3: Fourth and Fifth Grade Division 4: Middle School; Grades Six, Seven and Eight Division 5: High School; Grades Nine, Ten, Eleven and Twelve •       Each poster must portray a Water Conservation Idea.  Students may use crayons, paint, color pencils, or markers.  No highlighters, photos, or computer graphics
