2019-20 Middle School

The following artwork was created by 6th, 7th, and 8th  students before school closures from January-March.  In January, middle school students practiced one and two point perspective, starting with letters and words then moving to cityscapes.  In mid Febuary, they learned about color theory using liquid watercolors and mixing secondary and tertiary colors using only the primary colors, red, yellow, blue. After practicing color mixing and creating a reference color wheel and value scale, each student designed an image that incorporated the color wheel using 12 colors, primary, secondary, and tertiary.
