YMV 2022-23 Art Showcase

This year, students in grades K-8 explored how art has progressed throughout the centuries through a variety of fun and engaging lessons. What a powerful moment for students to open up their portfolios at the end of the year and see how art has changed, influenced and inspired people and movements from around the world through the lens of their very own art projects! We worked with many different mediums and techniques to create amazing works of art. As an art teacher, I ask only one thing of my students when it comes to art – DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TRY NEW THINGS! I hope every student has found joy in creating as they learned more about the basics of visual arts.
