Back to School Sale on Notebooks, Sketchbooks, Locker Magnets and T-Shirts – Order by September 29
This is some of the Art that has been created by the talented students of Belmont Middle School from September through the beginning of February. My goal as an Art Teacher is to create a strong foundational knowledge of the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. I try to expose students to a wide variety of media so they understand how they work in different ways and can ultimately choose the best medium to express themselves as artists. I am very proud of the work they have done!
These projects address the following Art Standards:
6A: Creating - Generate and conceptualize artistic ideas and work.
6B: Presenting - Develop and refine artistic techniques and work for presentation.
6C: Responding - Perceive and analyze artistic work. Interpret intent and meaning in artistic work. Apply criteria to evaluate artistic work.
6D: Connecting - Relate artistic ideas and works with context to deepen understanding.
