Colorado Animals

Students first researched and chose a Colorado animal. Then they worked to fill their page with the likeness of the animal breaking it down into simpler shapes and sections. Then students used Zentangles with fine line quality and patterns. Students had total freedom to doodle any design they wished and have fun as they created these expressive and whimsical animals. The bold colored background is a very strong CONTRAST from the black and white designs.
