Expressive Clay Masks

Clay Creations Inspired by Kimmy Cantrell
For this project, students explored working with clay to create colorful, textured pieces inspired by artist Kimmy Cantrell. Just like Kimmy uses bright colors and bold patterns in her mixed-media art, students experimented with shaping, carving, and adding texture to their clay creations.

By layering designs and playing with surface patterns, young artists brought their ideas to life in three dimensions. Each clay piece reflects creativity, exploration, and personal expression—showing how art can be fun and full of color, even in clay!
