Hi Maddie - what a great job on the tiger. He looks a little corked off perhaps because the flower is going to poke him in the head!! Keep up the good work. I'm also trying to paint a lion cub and when I'm done I'll send you a picture of it!! pat & arliss

Maddie: Uncle Harry and I viewed your Egyptian sarcophagus artwork on line. Uncle Harry studied Egyptian artwork at the Chicago museum. Hi Maddie: The season has changed to autumn and you have portrayed the colorful orange leaves to mark that occasion! I have seen some trees with red and gold leaves, too. Maddie: I just looked at your recent art work: funny face vessel! It appears you took a lot of time to include all the details you wanted to include. Hi Maddie: Your latest drawing of the lady bug is great! I went on-line and heard the story of the lady bug and the aphids. You certainly read interesting books in first grade. Hi Maddie: I just viewed the most recent picture that you have drawn--a peacock! I know that you have visited the zoo and am sure you saw a peacock. The peacock fans out its tail just as you have drawn in your picture! The colors of the feathers are so bright. I hope you will continue to draw exciting pictures, and I am looking forward to them.
