See? You can do beautiful things without ink. Facial features always get challenging when they're so small. Degas didn't capture individuality of each girl, he was more interested in the figure/gesture than their identity- so don't worry that you think you made the faces look feminine or masculine, we all struggled with that. You did an excellent job of capturing the whole thing and looks just as graceful as Degas. Well done.
You're well advanced of most of your peers. Just imagine how phenomenal you'll be when you conquer that persistence component! Great observation, great composition. If this were basketball, I'd be saying "swoosh- nuthin' but net." Still, this is a layup, not a 3 pointer. It's smaller than the full paper and you finished pretty early. I hope you keep drawing and keep pushing yourself further. Great job.
It's outstanding. Your observation is excellent as is your engagement. Your persistence, stretch & explore could all use a little more patience. It's a great drawing. Just imagine how much more phenomenal it could be with 3D modeled values in graphite, working all 5 days and not just the first 2? No shame, not guilt, and I've stipulated that it's an excellent rendering- just want to try to challenge you if I can.
Outstanding. 1925 Director Rupert Julian and star Lon Chaney would both be impressed. You captured the creepy vibe expertly. Your observation and perceptual skills are really coming along- so are your abilities to specifically recognize and apply values. I love how much you love drawing. Keep it up. It will be a good outlet for you when you're reading and writing thousands of lines of code!
I like how you made it look very realistic and very detailed. I wonder why you decided to do this picture. I would suggest making the background a bit darker for some more dimension.
