The dimensions you did on your illusion is amazing! I can really see the shades you did on your piece. The layers of the colors are so neat and well done. The black and shade really bring the whole thing together.

The piece is very beautiful, the lines in the composition add a bold contour. There is an illusion of two eyes that I view. The values of the overall piece are greatly emphasized. The two circles in the center of the spirals add a sense of balance and unity.

There is so much dimension throughout every corner I see. The eyes are very well executed throughout all of the lines. I love how the eyes were expressed with the lines and with the color. The curved lines in the eyes create great dimension that really show that they are eyes and not just lines.

The intricate technique used to emphasize the areas surrounding the bold eyes creates a very trippy optical illusion. While looking at the eyes, I can make out a flies eyes. The blacks, whites, and grays creates a great sense of depth. This is some great work, your effort is applauded!

I especially like how you created contrast by layering the colors into one section rather then just filling the corners in. It shows your control and restraint in the medium. This really brings a lot of emotion and was super creative. The shadowing is really well done and it’s easy to pick up what the artwork is trying to say.

The shadowing and the shading is really mesmerizing to look at. All four also contrasting each other looks really good and its obvious to tell the improvement by the end.

I love the meaning and cultural aspect to this elegant piece of artwork. This piece tells a story to me of different types of personality’s. I find that very interesting because just from looking at someone’s hand gestures you can tell what the artist is trying to say. The difference in these gestures push a very creative and interesting way to describe these peoples emotions and or personality’s.

I really like the contrast built in this piece. All that surrounds the beautiful butterfly is bright and vibrant while everything near the giant spider appears dark. It brings out complete opposite aesthetics within one piece, so you can easily look at it in a bright colorful way or a dark and dull piece of work.

I love the cultural aspect of this piece, it adds personality and nostalgia for a viewer that may be able to connect with it. The intricate detailing on the on the earrings adds a velvety texture, and the detailing is very realistic and stunning, it is clear a lot of thought was put into small things, such as the stopper falling onto the grass. The piece has a gentle movement, with the couple slowly walking away in the background, stopper falling, and the earring being in a specially chosen position rather than standing straight up.

I love this artwork and how it has lots of different textures on it. It feels 3 dimensional in a sense. Lastly, I love how you added background as well of the earring backing and the 2 girls holding hands.

The artwork really pushes the idea of perspective by utilizing foreshortening of the table, to enhance the three dimensional aspect. I thought that the cross hatching in this piece, effectively demonstrates depth in the shadows creating dark and dense areas. The use of contour thickness and weight display a nice flow in texture like the asymmetric and curvy lines of the wooden table top.

“Drawn Textures” involves many different types of textures and it has small half circles on the mountains. The main have cross hatching done for their clothes and backpack which looks very interesting.

The colors in this piece give a pleasant feel to the viewer. The use of orange and blue, being complementary colors, allows the butterfly to be a focal point in the piece.

The white wed initially took my attention, this piece is eery and dainty all at the same time. I’m very impressed on how you executed the art style. 10/10

I love how you took the spooky Halloween concept and turned it into something lighter, more pure. The butterfly is a great replacement for the typical spider! You had great choices of color for this piece.
