Artist of the Week Contest

The "Artist of the Week" program, sponsored by Blick Art Materials, is a weekly contest that highlights new artwork from four different grade categories (PreK-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12) and encourages family, friends and other art appreciators to vote for their favorite piece. This is not a merit-based contest, but rather a simple and fun way to remind us all that EVERY child is an artist and deserves a moment in the spotlight!

Here's how the weekly program runs:

Tuesday:
Artsonia selects twelve random art submissions in each of four different age groups from artwork submitted the previous week.

Wednesday-Saturday:
Voting is open to the general public and limited to one vote per computer, per day.

Sunday:
Winners are announced and featured on the Artsonia homepage!

Super Prizes!
Each week, Blick Art Materials generously donates a $100 gift certificate to each winning school and a $50 gift certificate to each winning artist. (That's more than $20,000 in prizes for the school year!)

So keep submitting new artwork each week and your students will continue to have chances to be drawn for the contest!
