I attended Fort Hays State University to earn a BA in Art Education, graduating in December of 2002. Go Tigers!

It has been my pleasure to teach Kindergarten-8th grade at Oakley Elementary, St. Joseph's Catholic school and the
Middle school. Elementary students receive art instruction once a week while middle school students have class 2-3 days a week. We sincerely hope you enjoy seeing artwork by our talented young artists! We have a great time getting messy and creating masterpieces for your viewing pleasure. Thank you for taking the time to appreciate ART!

Our students are blessed with supportive administration and community who work hard to keep visual art alive in our district! Erma Gee is a great-grandparent volunteer who has had a huge impact on the art programs success. She has spent countless hours photographing and uploading elementary student work to this amazing gallery. Parent volunteer Jamie Lowrie has also dedicated much of her time to assist the art department in many ways to advocate the work of our kids.
