I always loved art but it was when I was high school, that I truly began to focus on it. I love painting and drawing, but do clay work, just because sometimes, I get an idea and it needs a different medium. Clay work is very relaxing to me.
I became interested in aRTSONIA, because my granddaughter is a member in Texas, and it is a way for me to see her new artwork.
I have been teaching for a very looong time, and have taught k-8, high school and community college art, in New York, before my husband and I moved to Tennessee, 7 years ago. We have loved every minute of this beautiful state, and love teaching at Wilson Elementary, which is a K-5 school. Everyone at Wilson understands the importance of the arts in school.
