Hi! My name is Sara Farrell and I have been the art teacher at Jarrettown Elementary since 2005. I have a bachelors degree in art education from Penn State University and a masters of education from Gratz College. In 2010, I was named on of West Chester Univeristy's Top Teachers 500 and in 2020, I received the Artsonia Art Education National Leadership Award. I am also a published children's book illustrator, with titles including "Rosie the Practically Perfect Puppy" and "The Me Inside."

I have always loved art and I want the students in my class to love art, both making it and appreciating art by other people. our art room is a place where we can let loose, get messy and have fun, all while learning a lot, too! I am very grateful to work with so many bright, creative children every day and help them to make something truly unique.
