Mrs. Berrier graduated from the University of Oklahoma with Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology and Film and Video Studies and a Masters in Education. She loves all types of art including Impressionist paintings, African sculpture, and kinetic sculpture. One of her all time favorite artists is Dale Chihuly and his blown glass! Mrs. Berrier has been the art teacher at Atlantis Elementary School where she guided the visual arts department at Atlantis to attain the Brevard Cultural Alliance's Excellence in Visual Arts Award two times 2007-2010 and 2010-2013 and the Florida Department of Education's Visual Art Demonstration School designation 2011-2014. She was Atlantis Elementary's 2009 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Berrier loves to integrate math, language arts, social studies, economics, and science into her art classroom. In early 2009 she took student art/science experiments into microgravity thanks to Space Florida and ZeroG. She currently teaches visual arts at R.L. Stevenson School of the Arts.
