Meet the Teachers  at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School (Indianapolis, Indiana)

Rachel Hill This will be Miss Rachel Hill's fifth year teaching at Abraham Lincoln Elementary. She graduated from Carmel High School in 2008 and went on to study Art Education at Purdue University. She graduated Purdue in December of 2013 and has a license to teach art in grades K-12. Right after graduating from Purdue, Miss Hill temporarily taught in Brownsburg, IN at Cardinal Elementary and in Lebanon, IN at Central Elementary and Perry Worth Elementary. After hearing about a permanent opening at Abraham Lincoln she rushed at the opportunity and started teaching her in 2015. Miss Hill believes that all students art artists, even if they don't think they are. Art is necessary for children so they can develop fine motor skills, understand problem solving, real life application of skills, and having an emotional release. "The Earth without ART is just EH."
